About the studio

Arabigraphy began as MJ Graphics, a London-based bilingual graphic design studio in 1991.

In 2001, the focus of the studio shifted from graphics to specialise in Arabic calligraphy. In that same year, Mustafa Ja’far, the founder of the studio began to teach the subject for the University of London at the British Museum.

In 2004, MJ Graphics was rebranded as Arabigraphy (Arabic+calligraphy) Since then, we operated under the new name.

The studio provides quality services to individuals, commercial companies and cultural institutions around the world.

Besides undertaking Arabic calligraphy commissions, we offer limited-edition calligraphy prints of the works displayed at the gallery section on this website.
